Introduction
Gold Fusion is a limited edition released to mark the 1st anniversary of De Molenberg Distillery.
This special edition combines Gouden Carolus Single Malt of De Molenberg Distillery with the different sample distillates that were produced before the start-up of our own distillery in 2010. The spirit of these first distillates was kept in our maturation chambers for more than 6 years in Bourbon barrels (4 years) followed by a long finish in Oloroso sherry and porto barrels (2 years). This fusion of flavours has resulted in an elegant soft and complex whisky with rich notes of dried fruit and sweet honey.
