Brasserie Het Anker is looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic colleague to strengthen our kitchen team. We only have two important pillars that matter. First, continuing to serve our guests at the brewery site with the high standards they have been accustomed to for years. And second, meeting the strict expectations of our kitchen team in terms of teamwork and collaboration. Are you the person who can effortlessly combine these two?

We ask for:
- Passion! You don’t just choose a job in the kitchen; you choose Het Anker.
- (Whisky) barrel of knowledge & kitchen passion! Through your training or experience, you have knowledge of cutting techniques, products, a basic understanding of HACCP, and can easily follow recipes.
- Team players! We believe that the best results can only be achieved through collaboration.
- Someone who can make decisions. As a head chef, we expect you to take a leading role within the team in making important decisions for the kitchen.
- Versatility: You are excited about both the cold and hot sides of the kitchen and can pitch in where needed.
- A multifunctional bio-rhythm: because you know that in hospitality, you won’t always be home on weekends.
- Efficient and autonomous, with guest satisfaction always being the top priority.
- Clear communication in Dutch, both verbal and written.
- Like-minded souls: Dealbreakers include not embodying the mission, vision, and values of Het Anker in everything you do.
- Creating the team schedule.
- Calculating food costs like no one else.
And preferably:
- A good sense of humor.
- A “local,” living within biking distance of the brewery.
